Law Enforcement: What To Do
- If the youth is in danger, follow your department's emergency procedures.
- Ask whether they are in foster care now or were in the past, and who their caseworker or county agency is. The county child welfare agency can be found on State Agencies below.
- For a place to stay tonight, use Shelters & Hotlines or the youth ZIP search for emergency shelter near them.
- Hand them the site: it is free and anonymous, with no sign-up.
Search Together
