Before You Apply

Who Can Apply for Foster-Youth Scholarships?

Read the eligibility line on each listing, then confirm the sponsor’s current rules. Check foster care history, age, state or county, school and education path. A listing with no age limit recorded is not a guarantee that the sponsor has no age limit.

How Do I Apply, and What Will I Need?

Open “SEE HOW TO APPLY” for the sponsor’s application instructions. Follow its document checklist and keep copies of what you submit. Requirements vary, so do not send foster care records or other private documents to Help Foster Youth.

When Should I Apply?

Start early and check the sponsor’s current application cycle. A missing deadline here does not confirm that applications are open. A past date may belong to an earlier cycle; check the sponsor for its next opening before preparing an application.
